Aluminium formwork
Built on Mivan Shuttering, Not Just Renders
RG Pleiaddes is built using aluminium formwork — commonly called Mivan — rather than conventional brick-and-block construction. In practical terms, walls and slabs are cast together as a single monolithic RCC pour, which cuts down on the joints and seams where seepage typically starts, tightens dimensional tolerances between one flat and the next, shortens the casting cycle per floor, and gives the finished structure better resistance to seismic movement.
It's a slower story to tell in a brochure than a lobby render, but it's the part of the build that actually determines how the flat holds up ten years in.
